The Baltimore waterfront is an excellent place to have a meeting. it is lively, picturesque, and the seafood options are great. Lucky for my team we use Black and Decker electric-screwdrivers in our program because our client would have thrown them out the window if they were anything else. Similar to other engineering groups they had an amazing time building and adapting the robots for the obstacle course competition. One of the few programs where the teams dressed the robots up like floats and gave them names … very festive even for the “non-winners”. We learned a great deal about an iconic American company, and they learned how much I love their $9,95 electric screwdriver – especially when we have programs for 500 or more people … that is approximately 2,000 electric screwdrivers! I bought them a round of drinks and snacks as a tribute. A fun and productive meeting experience as managers from different regions across the country got to know each other extremely well working on a team together building the robot, and more importantly, competing to beat the other teams!
Team Building Engineers can recommend must include all of the aspects mentioned above, and one more important ingredient is needed for the ultimate engineer team building event; a Battlebot style conclusion!
