Rochester New York Bicycle Building Team Building with Daymon Worldwide
Senior executives and sales people from Daymon Worldwide chose our New York Bicycle Building Team Building event for an extremely fun and interactive charity team building in Rochester NY. We partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters to find children and sponsors to attend the event and receive bicycles built by a combination of Daymon’s clients, sponsors, and Daymon employees. It was an extraordinary way to build on their relationships with clients in a unique and inspirational way. I am pretty sure sales were up this year!
Charity bicycle building events like the New York Bicycle Building Team Building event are a perfect way to create a deeper bond with existing clients, and an excellent way to build new relationships with potential clients. In the case of this charity event in Rochester, Daymon impacted the local community by giving away several bicycles to local children, and by partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters they impacted the relationships between the child and their Big Brother or Big Sister.
Bicycle riding is one of the best ways for these types of relationships to create a bond, build trust, and create healthy relationship habits. When the Big Brother or Big Sister exercise with the child, it creates improved moods in both adults and children. We feel better during and after activity as our bodies are flooded with feel good chemicals. This elevated moods make meeting new people and building relationships easier. The brain also associates a positive response to the other person and this has the ability to change how the entire relationship is perceived; positively or negatively.
Many children do not ever see or experience much outside of their immediate community; sometimes only a few blocks in area. The gift of a bicycle, especially when paired with adult supervision as in the case of Big Brothers Big Sisters can mean opening the gateway for children to see and explore areas outside of their prior knowledge!
