Critical Thinking Crime Proving Team Building with Rise Logistics
Critical Thinking Crime Proving Team Building is hard to find because most events in this team building genre are “crime solving” or “who did it?” formats. Anyone can guess “who did it?” and be right some of the time. Proving a case against a suspect requires true critical thinking and group problem solving to accomplish. Rise Logistics was looking for a way to take stock of their current abilities and to look for ways to “sharpen the sword” and get better in terms of critical thinking as a team and group problem solving. They hosted our iCSI team building event where two teams attempted to prove which suspect “stole anti-matter?”
Rise Logistics is based in an industrial neighborhood just outside of Oakland and specializes in the distribution and customization of legal cannabis products. They are a technology company that has allowed entrepreneurs in this fast growing business to customize the manufacturing of their specific products, and have them packaged and distributed all from a computer at their home or office. It is one of the most logistically amazing companies I have witnessed 1st hand. We are a small company and are inspired by ways small businesses can harness “big company logistics” to bring excellence to market. Rise Logistics is to cannabis distribution as Samuel Brannan was to the the gold rush here in Sacramento; essentially the general store there to help the risk takers and entrepreneurs with the supplies they need to have success!
The event itself was amazing to watch unfold as each team took a different route to proving the crime. One team took a “build from the bottom,” gather all the evidence and do lab work approach, while the other team took a macro look at all evidence and relied more heavily on interrogations and discussions. Both teams used the AI Crime Solving Assistant to guide them in their investigations effectively. In addition to some excellent examples of critical thinking crime proving team building and group problem solving, these teams were truly hysterical in their suspension of disbelief and their ability to immerse themselves in the roles of investigators. One two person team in particular were so spot on I wish I had an agent to call – they were born to be a detective team on TV! Once more they were the perfect interrogating team with one eliciting all kinds of valuable information, and the other one listening and making sense of it. It was like they were two halves of the mythical perfect investigator!
