Zoom Team Building for Facebook Virtual Teams
Zoom Team Building can be incredibly easy and fun to do. What remote employees need most right now is a connection to their work colleagues in the ways we miss from being together. The best way to do this is to have a good time together. How do you have a good time over Zoom?
The answer is our Speed Teams event that uses fun widji puzzles to inspire your team! Speed Teams is designed to activate positive feelings in participants. It begins with energy and starts the action within a couple minutes of beginning the event. People are encouraged and engaged early-on.
Each round offers multiple opportunities to feel the positive benefits of getting puzzles correct and of winning. With 12 puzzles per round, and 5 to 12 rounds of competition, everyone gets the surge of oxytocin, serotonin and dopamine that literally create good feelings inside of us, and that we share together, and it does it immediately.
Groups are divided into small teams and compete against each other. Within the teams, people can brainstorm and collaborate to solve the puzzles together. The widji picture puzzles benefit from the teams working together. One person’s guess, gives an idea to another teammate, who says something, which causes a third teammate to get the answer. Widji puzzles are the perfect way to encourage and inspire fun collaborative conversations between virtual teammates!
We worked with two different teams from Facebook on the same day and both groups had a blast, and filled a need created from the outcomes of COVID-19.

Our Speed Teams event also works perfectly with the technology strengths of Zoom. The best part about using Zoom for team building events is that it is easy to invite people, and easy for people to join. Another great feature is the flexibility of the breakout room feature. The event is smooth, no emails are exchanged or shared, and everyone gets to lose themselves in a virtual world of fun human interaction for 1 to 2 hours!
