SF Financial District Team-Building
A SF Financial District Team-Building was a smashing success with wealth management experts at MyVest. The TeamWorx Robot Battles 1 team building made its way just down the block from the Pacific Stock Exchange in the financial district in downtown San Francisco.
MyVest has a digital wealth management platform that is wholistic and from the images on the website it looks like it makes understanding your portfolio a breeze. Beautiful and intuitive charts show where your money is invested, how much is there, and your annual % return, all in one easy to read phone app-like screen.
The MyVest experts divided into four teams of four people each – they spread out in the building meeting room on the first floor. The meeting room was a unique and inventive design as it allowed for outside access without going through the building. It was convenient for the attendees and for any vendors; in this case me. The set-up allowed for four teams to each have their own build space, and for me to have a central area for my toolbox and built example bot.
The winning team – pictured above – was exceptional in comparison to to the other three teams. Whereas the three additional teams – all building excellent quality battle robots – finished very close together in a dramatic finish for 2nd place, the first place team strolled to victory and enjoyed snacks and beverages as they awaited their fellow opponents.
The battles were a different story as all of the teams had a chance at winning the championship in the final round. Two teams had two victories, and two teams had 1 victory. A victory by the ladder and we go to an all-out “last bot standing” competition to determine the winner. A victor by either of the former teams and it’s over – they are the champion; and that’s what happened!
Everyone got to battle and some folks battled several times and got significantly better!
