SF Bay Area Team Building
SF Bay Area Team Building was the theme of recent Robot Build and Battle events at TeamWorx.
We traveled to downtown San Francisco for events with Uber and Amplitude, to Menlo Park and Redwood City to work with Meta and Moloco, to San Bruno for an event at YouTube Headquarters, and back across the bridge to Berkeley for a nighttime soiree with UC Berkeley.
YouTube hosted 6 teams at their headquarters in San Bruno for a fun filled robot build and battle event. The fastest team posted an impressive time of 32:36 (thirty two minutes and thirty two seconds) and many teams followed in short order. The battles were on a large stage which amplified the impressiveness of the outcomes. The stage allowed for ideal filming conditions, and YouTube filmed and steamed the robot battles in sparkling clarity. Overall there were numerous cheers, shouts, triumphant feelings, and a great comradery shared by all. We look to coming back for more YouTube teams, and see if they can beat the impressive build time posted here!
Moloco is a machine learning company located in beautiful downtown Redwood City with a spectacular view. Our build and battle venue featured smooth floors and large windows floating in the sky. The fastest team posted an impressive time of 36:15 (thirty six minutes and fifteen seconds)! Meta followed up with an above average build time of 40:38 using only three people – which is truly impressive!
Downtown SF Team Building
It’s always rewarding to travel to downtown San Francisco for build and battle team building. The venues are often other-worldly and speak to our current times, magnified. Uber and Amplitude were two great examples of really fun groups and high-energy in-person events that bring life to downtown office space. The robots and the city fit like the perfect exoskeleton on a titanium hand.
The best part is that every person leaves energized from sharing a unique and engaging team building experience.
A huge thank you to all of our recent clients in the SF Bay Area, we hope to be back and see you again soon!
