Charity Team Building New York City: CNBC and The Children’s Village in Harlem.
CNBC sponsored a Charity Team Building New York City event at their annual Holiday party at the Lincoln Center in New York City, and participated in our Dream Builders bicycle building program. We arranged for children from Harlem to visit the Lincoln center and each child received a bicycle, helmet, and lock. After visiting the Children’s village the day before I was so inspired to help these children, and felt honored to to be able to give them something positive. CNBC had a great time competing to be the best team while also building safe bicycles! A very powerful day in the big Apple!
Team building events and corporate team building programs delivered within the structure of an overall meeting can ignite your meeting themes and achieve your outcomes in route to substantial ROI.
Themes can take life through a shared experience that impacts the attendees on multiple levels. Similar to an ideal marketing environment attendees hear the theme, experience the theme, and experience success with the theme together. The experience itself includes visual, audio, tactile, experiential, relational, and other sensory input.
Outcomes such as improved relationships, company buy-in, fun, energize attendees, improve problem solving and inspire creative thinking are consistently achieved through these types of events.
Properly used, team building can become a significant component of your overall meeting strategy. Unique programs that surprise and delight attendees and allow them to have fun and interact with each other create lasting memories.
We know from research that the human brain naturally rewards us for solving problems with a feel good drug, dopamine. This documented reaction helps to explain our innate fascination with crossword puzzles, math, crime mysteries, game shows and other forms of achieving the feeling associated with figuring something out. Team building is problem solving and goal achieving together with your colleagues in a condensed time frame with controlled parameters; and it’s fun!
