ARAMCO Battlebot Team Event Houston, Texas!
Aramco Services and TeamWorx Team Building partnered to create a Battlebot Team Event and one of the best events that we have experienced. ARAMCO is set to become the largest valued company in the world with an impending potential public offering. The TeamWorx Battlebot Team Event was perfect for their annual party because the theme was robots! Set in a room completely decorated with robot themed props, music, and an automated dance floor used for the finale, the Battlebot Team Event fit perfectly into a whole day of robot fun!
What an exciting and fun-filled event at the St. Regis in Houston, Texas! Aramco Services wanted to take the time to celebrate a successful 2014 and what better way than to have their engineers build and compete with high quality robotics equipment. This event was highlighted with a fantastic emcee, a robotics themed trivia game, robotics competitions, and of course a robot dance off!
Participants were fully engaged from the moment they walked in all the way to the awards announcement at the conclusion of the day. Several teasm were honored with a variety of possible ways to win including best dancing robot, best designed robot, and of course 7 different chances to win in a series of robot team competitions. This event was a great success because of the great event planners that made everything seem smooth as well as the engineers who participated with everything they had to become the 2015 BOT BASH Champions. Teams competed for the world record build time and several came close to success only to be thwarted at the last minute. The St. Regis was an excellent host and provided a perfect environment to leverage learning from all of the fun we had with the robots. From top to bottom the entire day became an immersive experience in Robot land, perfect to our liking and a hit with attendees!
