Bike Building Event Houston with Deloitte Consulting

Deloitte Consulting  sponsored a Bike Building Event Houston as a part their big employee company meeting. Deloitte had a competition with bicycles and then gave them away to charity. The obstacle course involved bicycles the teams built – they had to trust their own work! Fun, lots of cheering, and a great time had by all. The bicycles – once proven to work – were donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Revenues for fiscal year 2015 were US$35.2 billion. Deloitte provides industry-leading audit, consulting, tax, and advisory services to many of the world’s most admired brands, including 80% of the Fortune 500. A Bike Building Event Houston enabled Deloitte to challenge their professionals to work together by building a bicycle, and it enabled Deloitte to introduce fun in an unexpected manner.

Big Brothers Big Sisters is an excellent charity to donate bicycles to because it provides the child with something very cool to do with their Big Brother or Sister. Often a bicycle can also provide independence for children who have a limited travel area, and open up new experiences including more available jobs, recreational and educational opportunities, and opportunities for healthy life choices such as exercise. Teh Big Brother or Big Sister attends the event, as with the Deloitte Bike Building Event Houston, and receives the bicycle with the child. The Big Brother or Big Sister can bring their own bike in and have it tuned up by our onsite mechanics at no charge. This way both child and Big Brother or Sister are prepared and ready for a bicycle trip adventure.
