Bike Building Team Charity Event Dallas Texas
On February 28 2017 in Dallas Texas a TeamWorx Bike Building Team Charity Event with Iron Mountain, an Enterprise information management company, gave away 20 Red Line Roam BMX style bicycles to foster children in the local community. Iron Mountain sponsored the entire event as a way to to give back to the local community where they were meeting, and to entertain and inspire their attendees!
We partnered with Foster Kids Charity in North Dallas to find 20 foster children who could really use a new bicycle. They worked tirelessly to round up a team of 20 awesome young people ranging from 5 to 12 years old. 15 attended the event and met the teams that built the bike for them in person. Employees from Iron Mountain were inspired by the children to build the bikes perfectly, and rewarded with huge smiles from the children as they received the bike in person.
We had professional bike mechanics check each bicycle, and adjust the seat and handlebars to fit each child before leaving.
The attendees were also entertained by the TeamWorx Team Building 101 activities that feature 20 different ways to earn points. 20 teams of 10 people each competed to build a bicycle and earn more points than the other teams. The activities allow everyone to take part in earning the parts for the bicycle and getting to know each other in new and fun ways. Team Building 101 is a great way for people to meet, or for them to grow their existing relationships.
