STEM Robotics Team Building
Build robots with local STEM students and donate a class set to teach future generations!
STEM Robotics Team Building allows teams to build a functioning robot and then compete against other teams in a series of competitions.
Two popular formats for STEM Robotics Team Building:
Speed and Skill Competitions – 7 competitions against other teams in real time
Head to Head: “BattleBot” style – Multiple battles against other teams.
A true test of communication, leadership and teamwork, STEM Robotics Team Building requires the entire team to successfully build the robot. Both competition formats give everyone a chance to operate the robot, and challenge the team to strategize and adapt throughout the entire event.
The Time and Skill competitions are designed to start easy and build progressively harder as the team becomes more skilled at using the robot. Everyone on the team will drive in each competition at least once. We make robots accessible and fun!
The BattleBot format includes a game of strategy and skill. Teams go head-to-head in a series of competitions. The goal is to be on top at the end! Everyone drives more than once, and the entire team is involved in each competition. Action packed excitement!
Flexible formats to fit your schedule from 1 to 4 hours.
Combine with teamwork, leadership, innovation, or sales training for a full day business retreat.
We work hard to find local STEM students who are truly inspired by science, math, and technology – from the most challenging neighborhoods – to join your teams and compete alongside your employees.
Students and your employees will naturally engage together on something where they speak the same language – building something really cool and having fun! Often the students are better at using the robot and play a key role in being the winning team!
Additional investment required to donate a Class Set Robotics Kit – including all of the Robot parts, supplies, and teaching materials for classes of 24 students at a time – to participating schools and organizations. Ask us how we can customize this experience to your meeting.
