Henry Tampa Bay Team Building
A Tampa Bay Team Building event with Henry Company was a huge success. 11 teams competed to build the robot faster than each other and for the World Record.
The winning team, pictured above, finished in a flashing fast time of 32:06 (thirty two minutes and 6 seconds) placing them 51st All-time! This is a truly commendable achievement considering thousands of teams over 8 years have competed to build the robot faster! The other ten teams were close behind completing the robots mostly in 45 minutes or less. The real impressive thing was the quality of the builds. We had 11 teams in every battle and they were smashing each other with full force!
The battles were super fun and exciting with 11 teams popping balloons, pushing each other around and outside of the arena, and flipping robots! The crowd noise was an 11 with folks screaming and yelling with each success or non-positive result. Overall we had 6 rounds of “points-based” battles, and the “Last Bot Standing” finale. Team #28 outlasted the other 10 battle robots to take the battle championship in style!
