KVIE Robot Build Teambuilding
A KVIE Robot Build Teambuilding was a huge success, entertaining about 60 TV-related professionals at the annual employee Holiday Party!
The venue was the TV studio, which made for an ideal Robot Build and Battle environment, especially with the creative robot-themed decor added by the hosts!
Rosey, the robot from the Jetsons cartoon series, greeted all people of my generation and older with a, conscious or subconscious, known entity upon entering. I didn’t even know how well I knew Rosey until just then!
You could also choose to take a picture posing as Mr. Rogers, wardrobe assistance included!
For the Robot Build and Battle, we divided into 9 teams, each with their own round table, robot kit, teamwork, and enthusiasm!
The teams competed hard to be the winning build team, with the team pictured above winning by a narrow margin! They finished just under the average build time of 45 minutes , with a time of 44:25 (forty four minutes and twenty five seconds)! Congratulations!
The team modestly credited teamwork, a sense of fun, and great communication for their victory, however I credited a pure talent advantage!
The battles were outrageous and would have made Mr. Rogers intrigued by the loud cheering and yelling. Ernie would have loved it, while Burt may have “SMH” in real life.
