Results Holiday Themed Virtual Event
We had a spectacular finish to 2020 with over 55 companies, hundreds of teams, and thousands of folks competing to have the most fun and get the fastest time in The Holiday Themed Virtual Team Event. The top 20 teams are listed on the “Big Board” representing a “who’s-who” of tech and banking.
The fastest time went to Genentech Post Docs with a stunning posted time of 24:43! We donated $220 to “HomeAid Northern CA” in the name of these folks. It was their choice of a charity to direct the donation.
Thank you so much for your generous donation to HomeAid Northern California to support our work to provide housing for people struggling with homelessness. We have 4 projects underway which will provide over 150 beds for people without a roof over their heads. We truly appreciate your support during these challenging times.
Skillz and Draft Kings rounded out the “under 30 minutes crowd;” making up our top three! UCSF, Dell, MGM, Wells Fargo, HP, Google and Salsify finished out the top 10. It took exceptional teamwork to finish faster than hundreds of other teams of super talented folks; Congratulations!!!!
The Escape Room format has proven popular with tech folks and engineers. The emphasis on creative problem solving that requires team input is compelling to those situated in virtual cubicles. The time challenge ignites a sense of urgency and interaction.
Each Escape Room at TeamWorx has 5 team challenges. Each challenge uses playful and imaginative imagery, and underlying game theory to maximize the enjoyment of the experience. Challenges are intuitively accessible and yet challenging, and include ways to encourage group collaboration.
A huge thank you to all of the companies, universities, and organizations that participated in the Holiday Competition. It was a huge pleasure sharing the experience with all of our clients. We saw joy and laughter light up the darkest days of the year.
