A Robot Battles Carlsbad CA team building for 300 people was a huge hit at the OMNI LA Costa Resort for Attentive! Thirty teams of 8 to 10 people built Robot Battles 2 battle robots and competed to build it faster.
This event will go down in history as one of the greatest in TeamWorx robot battles history as we got all 30 robots battling at the same time in a crazy arena style melee combat. The cheering and yelling was so phenomenal it caught the attention of everyone at the meeting!
I truly cannot tell you how incredible the event was yesterday! Everyone had an absolute blast and the President of our company even reached out to us after to see how we could recreate the event at a future gathering! I feel like we’ll all be in contact again very soon! Truly, it exceeded all expectations and was the highlight of our trip. From our CTO to each engineer – they loved it!

Team 22 won the build competition with an impressive time of 46:55 placing them 8th best time overall just ahead of Uber and just behind Salesforce!
All thirty teams built to the bots successfully with a little help for some teams from our well trained staff which included 3 local robot high school competitors. The high school students were leaders in their local club and worked as a way to raise money for much needed parts for their upcoming competitions. They are the type of students that remind you young people can be awesome and inspirational.
The entire Robot Battles Carlsbad CA event was a pure joy from beginning to attend facilitated by the excellent folks at Attentive and by the amazing folks at the OMNI LA Costa Resort. Overall a truly remarkable and inspiring day of team building.
