Sacramento Team Building Old Town
Solar City has quickly become a fixture in Sacramento, and is one of America’s fastest growing companies. It makes sense they would be in Sacramento as we have close to 300 sunny days a year and we have long hours of very hot sun in the summer months. We are customers of Solar City for that exact reason and generate enough solar power to have air conditioning, a fair trade off with mother nature. Solar City wanted a Sacramento Team Building Old Town event and they chose the Sacramento Old Town Mobile Adventure in August.
It may seem like a crazy idea to do outdoor team building in August in Sacramento even for a solar company, however the Mobile Adventure offers plenty of opportunities for teams to take a break in the shade or inside a restaurant or bar, cool down, and still earn points. Teams can choose their own adventure, keeping cool or testing the heat. In addition to the flexibility to choose your own adventure, Old Town offers a lot of shade and is well equipped for large events in the sun in the summer.
Each time Solar City has come out they have competed for the company record. We have made sure to keep the event times the exact same so teams can compare their results over time and across divisions. We have different versions of the game to keep repeat visitors happy, and all of the games have been calibrated over time to the same score/time ratios. When new groups come they always confirm what they have heard the top score was is still good information, and then they proceed to try and break the record.
A unique feature of the Sacramento Team Building Old Town Mobile Adventure is that the scoring is adjusted to allow multiple paths to the highest possible score. In other words, running around Old Town in a super competitive frenzy is one way to get there, however it is not the only way. Creative and outgoing teams, and teams adept at problem solving also have as good a shot!
