Sangamo Health Science Teambuilding
A Sangamo Health Science Teambuilding was a huge success as four teams competed to build a robot faster than each other and for the World Record, and then battled in robot combat! Robot Build and Battle 1 is our most popular event and always produces fun, excitement, and exhilaration for groups of all types!

It was no surprise that they were proficient with building robots, which must have seemed an easy break from inventing future cures using yet undiscovered techniques! Learning about amazing companies is one of the best parts about our jobs at TeamWorx, and sometimes we get to work with companies literally creating the future we all assume will exist. After building and battling robots with these folks, we are fans and are rooting for their unequivocal success!!
The winning robot build team, pictured here, finished just above the average build time with a rapid build time of 44:56. They were extremely proud of their robot’s quality of build, and in fact, the battles would prove resilience was a key component of their robots DNA.
The battles were engaging and exciting to watch. The drivers/battlers improved their battling skills significantly as the battles progressed. They learned advanced techniques and then copied each other, all while adapting the battle arm to try and gain a technological advantage.
A huge thank you to Sangamo for inviting us to your office in the heart of Richmond. It was great to visit a charming small downtown, and robot build and battle with awesome folks!
