Houston Team Building
Houston Team Building venues can accommodate groups of 1,000 + people or smaller more intimate groups of 50 to 100 people. TeamWorx Houston Team Building events have ranged from 1,200 peole at the George R Brown Convention Center to smaller programs like when we partnered with Subsea Services and Salvation Army to giveaway bicycles while improving teamwork. The Salvation Army is a great resource for bike building programs because in many cases they have an intimate connection to the communities they serve. They are able to mobilize volunteers and agencies that fall under their umbrella to find the right children with the greatest need and/or are the most deserving. Often companies have an existing relationship with the Salvation Army because of their breadth, size, and national exposure. There is a lot of flexibility within the umbrella structure of the Salvation Army so it is often easy to find a good match for Houston Team Building event that focus on charity.
We learned about complex underwater machinery from engineers and sales folks, including Mud Recovery Systems, Packer Monitoring, Riser Lines, and services such as underwater inspection, maintenance, and repair. The Oil and gas industry is prominent in Houston and we have been back many times to work with giants like Exxon, BP, and Shell. Our breadth of experience in the oil and gas field helps us to relate to engineers, executives, and rig workers in the profession with empathy, insight, and understanding.
In this program Subsea Services improved communication and discussed how to better exceed client expectations. We introduced powerful questioning skills to allow the sales and engineers folks to first ge ton the same page internally, and then to translate this knowledge to their customer interactions. Actual relationships were built and grew deeper, and the skills learned allowed Subsea Services to immediately apply these skills to increase sales and customer support scores. A powerful day in Houston for everyone involved!
