HP Combines Robot Team Building and Leadership Training Roseville CA

Hewlett Packard is a huge part of the City of Roseville community and the greater Sacramento region. It is now two lean and mean companies, HP Inc. and  (HP Inc.) and Hewlett Packard Enterprise(Hewlett Packard Enterprise). A regional group based in multiple cities, and countries, wanted an innovative way to look at leadership and new ways to improve and build on existing (virtual) relationships. The team was onsite in Roseville all together and took the opportunity learn The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership from Kouzes and Posner’s The Leadership Challenge in our interactive Leadership Training Roseville format. The team practiced using the techniques and behaviors with each other to make implementation faster and more predictable.

The day was about more then learning new techniques from the Leadership Training Roseville session, they wanted the afternoon to be something energizing, unique, and fun that could test them to apply the learning from the morning. Our Robotics Team Building event is a perfect match for this type of one day schedule because it requires the winning team to outperform other teams in the areas of Leadership and Teamwork. Every team must actually build a functioning robot working together, delegating responsibilities, communicating, and trusting each other to “get it right.” They are competing against each other, and against other world class global companies for the World Record.
