Crime Scene Investigator Team Building or iCSI, engages teams in a journey through the entire crime solving process in about 2 hours. The goal of the program is for your team to experience what it feels like to solve a crime just like on TV, in the movies, and in real life. Crossover Health went through all of the phases of crime solving from Evidence Discovery – searching for clues using Orange UV glasses and a special UV flashlight (just like on TV!), to evidence processing including fingerprint and DNA matching, tire tread and footprint analysis, blood lab work, hair and ink analysis and more, to interrogation of actual suspects, to putting it all together to build a case against 1 of 4 suspects.
Each team is equipped with an electronic Crime Solving Assistant or CSA that allows them to earn points and be the winning team, and it confirms their own evidence and lab work. The better they are as crime scene investigators, the more points they score. The plot is an international theft of “Anti-Matter” that takes place on the campus of MatterMatters Inc.. Each team has all of the evidence and clues available to figure out who did it, and to prove a case against them. iCSI is unique in that it explores the discovery and use of evidence in building a case and touches on deeper teamwork discussions and use of logic and reasoning.
