Google TeamWork Energizer! Team Building Yields High Score
Google TeamWork Energizer! Team Building set the bar for high scores during their 2 hour onsite team building event.
The goal of TeamWork Energizer! is to earn as much money as possible in the time given by solving or doing 20 different team challenges. We purposefully include challenges that span the learning styles spectrum from active, interactive, kinetic, tactile, and visual, to verbal, spatial, and pure deductive logic. Teams can do the challenges in any order, do as many as they can, and they can work on several at the same time. This format allows leadership, teamwork, communication, and managing human resources to be vital to the team’s success.
Google went with the two hour event (1 hour and 50 minutes of team building time) onsite at their Google Cloud offices in Sunnyvale.
We have recently normalized the TeamWork Energizer team building event so teams can compete for the all time record, and for the best score within their own companies. The total amount of money available for completing the regular teamwork challenges is $53,000, and the total amount including bonus cash is $89,000. The TeamWork Energizer! is designed for the $89,000 maximum to be achieved by an exceptional team in a 3 hour event format (2:50 minutes of team building time).
Google posted three impressive team total earnings to set the new record cash total for a 2 hour event, and so far, for a three hour event, at $70,000 (team pictured above), $69,000, and $59,000!
They challenged other teams at Google to take the Google TeamWork Energizer! Team Building challenge and try to “out teamwork them!” It will be tough as this team was a joy to watch. Their ability to use deductive team logic was truly impressive and enjoyable to watch. From my position of knowing the answers it was amazing to watch them conquer one challenge after another using teamwork and collaboration with each other. It was a great score and a high bar for other teams looking to show off their leadership, teamwork, and problem solving skills!
Thank you again to Google for bringing us out to your beautiful new campus and to work with such a fun group!
