Tektronix Robot Teambuilding Cleveland
A Tektronix Robot Teambuilding Cleveland event at the Keithley facility featured six teams building and battling robots.
After our event with Tektronix in Portland, Oregon, word spread fast between engineers about how much fun our Robot Build and Battle 2 event is, and we got a call about an event in Cleveland. Seeing how much fun we had at the last event working with Tektronix engineers, we decided to pack up our stuff and head East!
The facility and the weather were perfect. The Keithley facility is serene, and surrounded by nature, including several walking paths available to employees. We worked with folks who had very creative and demanding jobs modifying and adapting their products to fit what the clients wanted onsite. Many of my current clients have huge demand from clients trying to leverage their current infrastructure, be it IT, cloud, enterprise software, testing devices, medical devices, and many other case examples, by leaning on vendors to help them adapt or modify their existing products to get what they need.
Hanging out with these folks for a little while you learn the tough line they negotiate between what is possible, what is feasible, and the happiness of their client.
They were expert builders of the robot and showed off some of their teamwork skill set by posting fast times with only 4-5 people per team! The winning team, pictured above, finished in just under one hour, which is amazing considering they only had four people!
We packed in five “Points Based Battles” and one “Last Bot Standing” finale to reward the teams for their hard work. With teams of 4-5 people, and two people operating the robot at the same time, each person got to battle three to four times, which is awesome!
A huge thank you to Tektronix for inviting us back! We enjoyed working with your super talented customer adaptation specialists; we look forward to more amazing events with Tektronix employees!
