Tech Company Team Building with Robots
We had several Tech Company Team Building events in early October. Each of the events were Build and Battle Robot team building events.
October 1st Netflix
Netflix hosted our Robot Build and Battle 2 event with 6 teams of 7-8 people each at their campus in Los Gatos CA. Each team competed to build their robot faster than the other teams. To do this they have to first assemble 7 individual part simultaneously, then bring all 7 parts together to make one working robot. Teams compete to build it faster than each other, and for the World Record. The winning team for Netflix is pictured above.
October 3rd Google Ads
Google Ads hosted a Robot Build and Battle 1 event with 7 teams of 5-6 people each. The building competition was fierce with the winning team (pictured above) completing the robot in a super fast time of 46:49. The build quality was on display as we completed 6 rounds of 2-minute “Points Based Combat” and a competitive “Last Bot Standing” championship! The venue was spectacular located at the giant Google complex next to the NASA Ames Research Center.
October 4th UnitX Las Vegas

Their technology improves production yield, reduces waste, and enhances quality across industries such as automotive, electronics, and batteries. UnitX integrates advanced imaging systems and AI to optimize operations and increase efficiency.
No wonder they were great building robots. The winning team, pictured above, completed the robot in a scorching fast time of 32:21; placing them 52nd All-Time on our World Record standings!
October 9th Meta
Another team from Meta, pictured above, managed to get on the coveted “Under 37 minute World Record List” with a super fast time of 36:01 placing them 87th All-time!
October 16th Meta
3 teams from the Machine Learning division built and battled Robot Build and Battle 2 robots. The battles were extraordinarily exciting for having 3 robots. The “Last-Bot-Standing” finale was a true work of competitive robot combat art!
A huge thank you to each of our clients for letting us share a couple of hours entertaining your talented teams!
