Emcee for Corporate Event – 1000+ Person Art Therapy Charity Event!
Emcee for Corporate Event is a premium service we offer clients with large groups of 500 or more people. Thermo Fisher Scientific is one of the great American Companies based in Pittsburgh PA that really demonstrates their core values by “walking the talk.” We were invited to provide our President Wayne Bennett as an enthusiasm ambassador and general emcee for an event they designed and implemented.
They gave away a staggering 12,000 art kits to adults and children throughout the entire United States. With attendance at the event between 1,200 and 1,400 people it ended up being between 8 and 10 art kits per person! The meeting professionals at Thermo Fisher Scientific orchestrated a fun event that broke the group into small teams of 8 to 10 people each – every team had a table assigned by number. Each team worked together to put the art kits together by gathering the correct supplies, dividing them among hundreds of art kits, bagging and boxing them up, and finally packaging and mailing to clients across the country. When people left the room FedEx was literally picking up the boxes for transport!
The combination of excellent planning and an experienced emcee can be amazing, and this was no exception. Because difficult emotions are often challenging to put into words, art acts as a powerful alternative method of expression that can transcend boundaries and allow for expression and relief. The results from children and adults is amazing, some of them able to express their inner emotions for the first time.
