Intel Robot Team Building Sacramento CA
Intel entered the chase for the World Record robot build time by choosing the TeamWorx Robotics Team Building Sacramento event for a bi-quarterly onsite. We built robots and although several employees had hands on experience with robots both personally and professionally the record narrowly eluded them. The team competitions were determined by how well the teams encouraged and coached the employees less familiar with driving and operating robots. The skill level was both high and low on both teams.
The winning team in each event was the team that more successfully shepherded the low skill-level contingent through the competition. It really came down to communication and teamwork more so than experience or skill with the robot. Or as we say, the Robot Team Building Sacramento event is a team building program that uses robots!
The meeting planner was thrilled as she wrote us “I have never seen that group of people so happy before. It was awesome!” Word spread fast about a fun and challenging experience to other Intel employees and we are heading back this summer for a series of Battlebot style “Head to Head” competitions!
