Las Vegas Robot Team Build at Resorts World
A Las Vegas robot team build at the Hilton at Resorts World brand new Las Vegas resort was a resounding success. TechStyle hosted a meeting for their entire IT department for the first time in over two years. Many folks were new and had not met in person before, and for others it had been awhile. They chose the Robot Battles 1 team building as the perfect way to have tech oriented people interact and have a great time together.
The Las Vegas Hilton at Resorts World is an impressive and massive new pinkish/red development just past the Wynn at the end of the Las Vegas Strip. Flying into Las Vegas it is visible and stunning, and compels one to ask oneself “what is that?” Well, easy answer, it is a massive new Las Vegas style resort with enormous meeting room capacity and a stylish interior.
Navigating my way into the deep recess of meeting rooms I was able to locate the enthusiastic TechStyle group who were ready for a robot battling challenge. TechStyle is an innovative fashion company that tailors its goods to tech people. After hearing this, even I thought “Genius!” Having roamed the bay area for decades providing team building to the world’s largest tech companies, I observed a dress style unique to tech people but crafted from existing styles. TechStyle takes the essence of this “anti-corporate/professional/casual/I am successful” essence and translates it into clothing popular with tech folks and stylish for the rest of us.
Their genius extended past amazing clothes and reliable IT service, to building reliable and hardy battle robots. The winning build team came in with a stunning time of 35:58 placing them 64th place all-time between Glu and VMware on our top robot build times list. The battles were equally exciting, with everyone getting multiple chances to battle and a thrilling “last bot standing” tournament!
A huge thank you to TechStyle for inviting us to be apart of your IT get back together event in Las Vegas at the stunning Hilton at Resorts World!
