Paint a Giant Team Mural
Every person paints one canvas. Together they become one giant mural for your walls.
A corporate painting event that ends in a reveal
Your team walks into a room of blank canvases, brushes and paint. Teams of four or five take one canvas each and start painting. Nobody needs to be an artist; every canvas arrives with its own paint-by-number map printed right on it, and the paint is mixed and labeled to match.
Then we turn the canvases around and fit them together. The seemingly unrelated pieces become one giant mural, and the room reacts. That reveal is the part people talk about back at their desks.

How it works
Four steps from your image to a mural on your wall.

01 Start with an image
Send us a photo, a logo, or an idea. We design a custom image around your brand, your city or your team — or prepare an image you already own.

02 We map the canvases
We split the image into individual real canvases and print a numbered painting guide on each one, then mix and label every color to match.

03 Your team paints
Teams of four or five paint one canvas each. Our facilitators keep the room moving and the conversation does the rest.

04 The big reveal
The canvases come together as one mural. Hang it in your lobby, or donate it to a school, hospital or local charity.
Nobody sees the whole picture ...
until the end
Each team only ever sees their own canvas, so the mural stays hidden until the last brush goes down. When the panels line up, people find their piece, then step back and find everyone else’s.
It is a quiet activity that gets loud at exactly the right moment; which is why it works for mixed groups, new teams, all-hands meetings and anniversary events.

Murals our clients painted
Every mural starts as an image and ends up on a wall. Here is the same journey for six different teams.

A custom Boston image, then the same image mapped onto canvases with its color key.

Neurotech
Company values and brand art, painted by the team on eight canvases.

Cruise
Panels held up at the reveal, then installed in the San Francisco lobby.

Education client
A detailed illustration reproduced by the team and hung in the conference room.

Questions we get asked
Does anyone need to know how to paint?
No. Every canvas is printed with a numbered map and the paint is pre-mixed and labeled, so the work is filling in shapes. People who insist they cannot draw usually finish first.
What image can we use?
Your logo or brand art, a company photo, your city skyline, a product, an anniversary theme, or an illustration we design for you. Send us what you have and we will show you a proof before the event.
How big is the finished mural?
It grows with your group. Every team adds a canvas, so a 40-person event produces a mural several feet across and a 400-person event fills a wall. We size the image to the space you plan to hang it in.
Can you run this at our offsite, or ship it to us?
Both. Our staff can run the event anywhere in the country, or we can ship a complete kit with canvases, paint and instructions so your team can host it themselves.
What happens to the mural afterward?
Most clients hang it in a lobby or main corridor. Some split the panels across offices, and some donate the mural to a school, nursing home or charity.
How far ahead should we book?
Custom artwork and supplies take lead time, so earlier is better — especially for groups over 100 or events that need travel. Ask us about your date and we will tell you what is possible.
