New World Record for Robot Battles Team Building Competition
Robot Battles Team Building with Nuix yielded a new World Record build time for the Robot Battles team building competition. Knocking off Facebook which had posted the fastest time to date before Nuix’s earth shattering time of 43 minutes and 18 seconds.
Nuix Leadership Goes Head-to-head in TeamWorx Robot Battles Team Building Showdown
Global technology company Nuix is no stranger to speed and innovation. Nuix technology is used to tackle the biggest data challenges that the world faces today, and several of the firm’s management team recently turned their innovative energies to a new challenge: our Robot Battles competitive team event.
We joined a group of 31 Nuix leaders in California for their Go-To-Market Forum, following on from another successful Nuix User Exchange. They split up into four teams and set out to build their own robots, only to pit them against each other in battle to see which would survive and be crowned champion.
The competition exemplified and reinforced the team spirit at the company. With teams around the world, the ability to come together under pressure, work toward a common goal, and succeed under pressure is a critical factor for Nuix and for any other company with a global presence. Building robots to fight against each other might sound like a fun distraction—which it certainly is—but the exercise can also be applied to many larger, more serious objectives.
