Robot Build Team Event is Back!
The Robot Build Team Event has made a victorious return with strong onsite bookings and two virtual/onsite hybrid events.
Credit Sesame topped off a two day onsite employee work session with a spectacular robot build and battle event. Two of the three teams finished below the 45 minute average build time, and the third team won the battles – so an evenly balanced and prosperous outing for all. The team pictured here won the build competition with an impressive time of 41:43 – more than 3 minutes under the average build time!
Great teamwork and leadership were most definitely on display as the robots were completed with exquisite quality and lasted several battles with only the most minor of repairs. The scoring was vigorous as all three teams notched multiple balloon pops and several robot flips over 5 rounds of sanctioned robot combat. I will remember the vivacity of the folks competing most about this event. Really great energy and friendly people having fun!
Congratulations to Credit Sesame for an amazing team building event in beautiful downtown Mountain View, CA. Several of the folks attending mentioned that this was “the most creative and unique team building they have ever done.” We are honored to hear that each time, and it is truly our purpose as a company to provide just that type of experience!
This week included a few other exciting robot battles team events including a hybrid virtual/onsite robot event with Google. As outside folks are not yet allowed back on campus, we shipped the robot kits to Google, and I provided robot tech support and event guidance through Google Meet. This solution is a creative work around as companies transition to some or all onsite employees, and wade through the potential obstacles of inviting folks onsite from outside the company.
We also made a trip to Yosemite’s southern border to deliver a Robot Battles 2 event at Tenaya Lodge. Our first ever TeamWorx team building event 20 years ago was at the Tenaya Lodge. They were also our first business partner. Needless to say it was an adventure in time travel, memories, and acknowledgement.
