San Francisco Pier 39 Team Building
San Francisco Pier 39 Team Building with the Mobile Adventure is fun and competitive, even in the rain. 5 teams from Belkorp AG braved the weather on February 9 2017 to post some impressive results. The team pictured above set the San Francisco Pier 39 Team Building Mobile Adventure record with a score of 14,425 which is close to the maximum. Considering it was pouring rain the entire time I find this to be incredibly admirable.
One advantage of a rainy day team building outdoors is that no one is around. It was as if we rented Pier 39 to ourselves. This helped the teams willing and able to brave the down pour of hundreds of gallons a second as they could move unobstructed from challenge to challenge. Many of the team challenges on the Mobile Adventure require people to participate, and you would think with no one around this would be difficult.
But you don’t set records taking no for an answer. Belkorp AG coaxed the store owners to participate since no one was shopping anyway. They literally made a rainy day happier! This is no surprise since Belkorp AG represent John Deere here in the west. I’m pretty sure John Deere has made some rainy days better as well. We all met at Boudin Bakery after the event and announced the winning team, shared pictures taken during the event, and ate wonderful food – in a dry covered warm restaurant with a view.
Teams managed to take pictures with babies, dogs, people dancing, tourists, birds, seals, Coit Tower, the Transamerica Pyramid, the Golden Gate Bridge, Bay Bridge, Angel Island, and Alcatraz to name just a few! Pier 39 occupies a unique location that all visitors should experience as you can take in most of the popular SF sights from one location, and you are walking distance from dozens more.
