TeamWorx worked with ABC Television with a Team Building New York City event to improve innovation through an interactive team building experience. We took over the Lincoln Center and competed to solve more mental puzzles and team challenges than the other teams. Over 200 people from ABC TV divided into teams of 10 people and each team was outfitted with a complete interactive team kit. ABC’s theme was “Thinking-Out-of-the-Box” so we customized the activities to encourage and demand creative solutions.
Teams could earn play money by correctly solving puzzles or demonstrating a successful team activity. The harder the challenge the more money was earned. As expected the top flight talent at ABC quickly adapted and set new records for total combined earnings of play money. They were motivated before the team building by a dynamic presenter who gave them 3 tips to innovating!
Earlier in the week, we delivered a Mobile Adventure for Novartis that spanned the entire city from Wall Street to Central Park, and several notable locations in between such as Times Square, Grand Central Station, “30 Rock” and the Empire State Building. All in all, teams saw more of New York City in three hours than most people see in a week on vacation!
