Facebook Champions at San Francisco Treasure Hunt Pier 39 Team Building
San Francisco Treasure Hunt at Pier 39 with Facebook was Amazing. This group was sending off one of their own as he pursues pastures beyond the warm confines of Facebook. The teams nonetheless were very competitive, and racked up enough points to get close to the all time record 14,435. It was the first group from Facebook on this course, and therefore a memorable landmark in the courses history.
The weather was as perfect as could be. On a day like this you can see the Golden Gate bridge, the new Bay Bridge, Alcatraz, Angel Island, Coit Tower, the Transamerica Pyramid, and Fisherman’s Wharf by simply rotating around in a circle.
The teams made the most of it by taking over a dozen spectacular team shots for downloading and sharing later, and uploading to Facebook! One of the most hilarious moments was the “compliment-off” competition that lasted well over 2 minutes and ended in only the most clever compliment of all time – not to be disclosed obviously – and a highly reluctant but unstoppable laugh.
One team quite unintentionally made a baby cry, and lost some valuable time as they soothed the little guy back to smiles. They were not sure what caused the downgrade in attitude, but wanted to fix the bug before releasing this update back to society. Admirable for sure in a competitive environment.
No San Francisco Treasure Hunt Pier 39 would be complete without a staged “Kung fu” fight. We noticed from the picture that one of the combatants had no idea what was going on which made for a hysterical contrast and picture, Like someone walked into a Kung fu movie set unknowingly.
Thank you to Facebook for a memorable afternoon together. We look forward to other groups descending upon Pier 39 to challenge for the Facebook record and the all-time record.
