Sunnyvale Robot Team Building Event with Netflix
Sunnyvale Robot Team Building with Netflix is always a blast. Netflix is like many South Bay tech companies with thousands of talented engineers and a need to get them off campus occasionally for engaging and stimulating team activities. Nothing builds camaraderie like a positive offsite with employees returning to the office refreshed and renewed to make a difference once again.
Luckily we have our expert venue booker Libby to find perfect places for Sunnyvale robot team building events for under $300. With a small group of 10-20 people it can often be hard to find affordable offsite space in the upscale and demanding real estate and rental market of the South Bay cities. Likewise, larger groups can benefit from low cost venue space perfectly suited for a robot team experience close to their campus or dining options.
In this event Netflix teams were competing to beat the all-time best Netflix record of 32:32 (thirty two minutes and thirty two seconds) set by team Megatron on November 14, 2018.
Team destroyer won the build competition at 41:10, not quite the best Netflix time but well below the robot build average time of 45 minutes.
Team Coasters fought hard and put up a noble effort, but much like Sparta, they ultimately succumbed to the non-stop robot punishing blows delivered by Team Destroyer. Team Destroyer took the win for the team battle competition as well.
Following the official team versus team event, the teams partook in several rounds of all bot melee with both the Slasher and the Spinner prototype robots. Inspired by the cross platform robot combat, they revisited the team versus team format – splitting into five teams with three battle bots and two prototypes.
An impressive amount of battles delivered in record time makes this event an outstanding success – clearly Netflix came ready to robot battle!
