Thank you to Bio-Rad Laboratories for sponsoring a Charity Team Building San Francisco Bay Area event giving away 4 bicycles to children from Big Brothers and Big Sisters. It was great working with the local chapter and meeting the all of the big and little brothers and sisters. TeamWorx is proud to partner with great organizations like Bio-Rad Laboratories to improve teamwork and morale in the company, and make a positive difference in the lives of wonderful young people.
Bio Rad is based in the San Francisco bay area and provides the healthcare industry with innovative and useful products that help life science researchers accelerate the discovery process and medical diagnostic labs obtain faster, better results.A Charity Team Building San Francisco Bay Area event provides Bio Rad with a chance to match their corporate values of giving and problem solving all in one event. We chose a local chairty partner that helped us to find students interested in pursuing careers in STEM related fields, that also needed a bike.
Big Brothers and Big Sisters helped us to find 4 pairs of students and big brothers/sisters that were all interested or working on STEM related projects. They got to visit with the Bio Rad employees and each student received a bike. The bike allowed the kids to go bike riding as one of the activities they did with their Big Brother/Sister.
