Five Cities Six Events
Our “Five Cities Six Events” Robot Build and Battle tour was a huge success. Starting in Sunnyvale with 12 teams from Google building and battling robots (winning team pictured above), to Menlo Park for 14 teams at Meta HQ (winning team pictured above), and then back-to-back events with business neighbors in Palo Alto that booked independently of each other and are in different fields: Harmonic (pictured above) and Equity Bee!
We rounded out the tour traveling to Guerneville in the Russian River area just west of Santa Rosa to work with an elite company that tests AI bots for safety and accuracy (winning team pictured above), and then overnight appeared in Henderson just outside of Las Vegas to complete the tour with 14 teams from Big Bully Turf at the “M Resort”!
The fastest build time of 36:10 of the entire tour went to the AI testing team that was meeting at Dawn Ranch in Guerneville. Harmonic (36:30) and Meta (38:28) followed closely behind with lightning fast build times.
The battles for all of the events were spectacular. Loud cheers, yelling, laughing, jumping for joy, were all present and on display. One example, Big Bully Turf celebrated another great year with some amount of festive drinking the night before our event! Folks rolled into the Robot Build and Battle the next morning not sure what to expect. They did a good job building and we had a healthy competition, but once the battles started the ballroom exploded with energy, engagement, yelling, cheering and lots of clapping! They managed to score 14 points in two different rounds, and averaged 12 points per round overall; exciting!
A huge thank you from TeamWorx to all of our clients. We greatly appreciate bringing us out to your place of business to build and battle robots. We are very lucky to work with people doing such amazing things in the world!
